The Center
for Men offers a comprehensive, year-long residential Regeneration
Program for men who suffer from various life-controlling problems
such as homelessness, chemical abuse or addiction, medical and mental
issues, illiteracy, and lack of adequate job skills. The approach
used to encourage and promote growth in each person begins by extending
the compassion of man and the love of God to the individual. This
inspires hope that shows somebody really does care. This approach
is holistic and focuses on individual needs. Emergency
overnight shelter and transitional housing is also available. Transitional
housing is offered for those who need help in relocating in the community.
Emergency shelter is offered to anyone who needs shelter, a nutritious
meal, a shower, and a safe place to stay for the night. Our dining facility also gives individuals and families from the community an opportunity to eat a complete nutritious meal free of charge. Make

Men
who enter the Regeneration Program participate in individual and group
counseling, various life skills classes, and attend the Miami Rescue
Mission's Jeffrey A. Tew Education Center to improve academic skills
as well as preparing for re-entry into the job market.
